About

My Story

The most beautiful thing is that, as an artist, I can imagine what I see, what I touch and engage.

Combination of materials

Clay has been my base material for over 20 years. Preferably as pure as possible, at most some oxide with transparent glaze.

The combination of materials is characteristic of my work, this creates. Previously this was the combination of mosaic, for 5 years I work with glass. I use different glass techniques, such as fusing, casting and pâte de verre.

The earth’s clay with the transparency of glass reinforces each other, this feels like yin yang.

Circuit

Fascinating and an inexhaustible source of inspiration, to me, is the eternal cycle of nature, life itself, and the fusion of this. Everything is one, literally imagine, the beauty of transience.

Yoga as a veheicle

Many of my images have a yoga attitude as a basis, yoga is a part of my daily life.
I think the asana’s have a lust for the eye.

But yoga is more, yoga is a transforming process, a lifestyle and a powerful means of growth. Art is also a developmental way, during my education I experienced this intensive. But surely after all, making art is not just fun, beautiful and beautiful, but sometimes a struggle, which I encounter myself enormously.
Life is work in progress, with yoga and art as a tool, I hope to continue to develop myself and to deepen my work and lift it to a higher level.
